Lights...Camera...Action?- Movie Review- Houseboat

I absolutely love this movie, the youngest son reminds me so much of my little brother.

It's a romantic film with comedic lines (it's a Cary Grant film after all) and some great music.

Tom Winston (Cary Grant) takes his three kids to live with him in Washington, D.C., where he works in the US State Department. The children resent their father, and, at an outdoor concert, the youngest, Robert, runs away. He is found by Cinzia Zaccardi (Sophia Loren) who has also run away and is enchanted by the little fellow.

When she takes him home, the kids and ultimately Tom offers her a job as a live-in nanny/maid, which she eventually accepts. Unbeknown to them, Cinzia is actually a European socialite on the run from her father (Harry Guardino) and has absolutely no experience with cooking, cleaning or raising children.

Tom's sister in law offers him and the children her old guest house, which they accept, but due to unfortunate circumstances (involving a train), they move into a leaky, run-down, old houseboat.
